• $1.69 Travel Mug Refill Program (Required 1/28 – 4/30)

  • In Q1 this year, the Metro NY market will be launching its first market-wide refill program featuring a dual Hot/Iced Coffee Travel Mug with $1.69 refills through April 30th
  • The February die cut coupon book which contains a free Travel Mug coupon will be dropping on or about Thursday, February 19th 2015 (the coupon book may drop as early as 2/17 or as late as 2/21 depending on the area of the market)
  • Coupon: Free travel Mug with the purchase of a Medium or Larger Beverage (at regular price)
  • If a guest presents this free coupon along with the purchase of a medium or larger beverage:
  •      1) Ring in the travel mug using the "Travel Refill Mug" button which is located on the POS by selecting Dunkin' Premiums --> Travel/Refill Mugs --> Refill Mugs --> Travel Refill Mug
  •      2) Scan the free travel mug coupon and provide the guest with the free travel mug



  • Each store will receive 500 24oz dual Hot/Iced (XL Hot or Medium Iced) mugs for this program in multiple shipments
  •    1st shipment of 250 mugs to arrive on or about 2/12
  •    2nd shipment of 250 mugs for most of the market (top 80%) to arrive on or about 2/19
  •    Remaining locations (20% lower volume locations): 2/23 – 50 Mugs; 2/25 – 50 mugs; 2/26 – 100 mugs; 2/27 – 50 mugs
  • Guests who have the Travel Mug will be able to utilize it for $1.69 Hot and Iced Coffee refills through April 30th 2015
  •     Please note: guests must have the travel mug in order to receive the $1.69 refills
  •     Guests may begin to utilize the travel mug for $1.69 refills immediately upon receipt
  •     Guests may use the mug as many times they would like during the promotion and as many times per day as desired
  • To fulfill the $1.69 refill transaction utilizing the travel mug, please do the following:
  •     1) Ring in the XL Hot Coffee or Medium Iced Coffee at full price
  •     2) Scan the bar code located directly on the travel mug
  •               Upon scanning the bar code (see below), the price of the XL Hot Coffee or the Medium Iced Coffee will be reduced to $1.69
  •               Please note: if your in-store scanner is not working, you can ring in the $1.69 offer by utilizing the PLU number located above the bar code on the mug (PLU 36687329)



  • Refill Program Kits will arrive in store the week of February 9th to include the following:
  •     01 Manager’s Guide
  •     50 Rain Checks - Note: If your location runs out of travel mugs, please provide the guest with a rain check which they will be able to mail in for the free travel mug
  •                                          (mail in instructions for the guest are located directly on the rain check)
  •     POP: (1) Counter Card & (1) DT burst (DT locations only) - post on February 17th
  • Handling a dirty mug:
  •      If a guest brings in a mug that appears to be dirty – the crew member should remind the guest of our clean mug
  •      policy (will be listed directly on the mug and on the POP), and offer the guest a $1.49 XL Hot Coffee or Medium
  •      Iced Coffee in a regular disposable cup for this one time.
